It’s that time of the year when G2, the world’s leading peer-to-peer-review site, releases one of its quarterly reports.
And while we at Planhat work closely with you, our users, to push what a modern customer platform could - should! - be, it’s sometimes what you say about us when we are not in the room, that says the most about us.
So let’s admit it.
The G2 Spring Report means a lot to us.
And it’s release makes us nervous.
And now it’s here.
What’s the verdict of Planhat in the G2 Spring Report?
Let’s have a look.
Considering Customer Success is our birthplace and our breeding ground, having 97% of our users give us a 4 or 5-star rating confirms what we are striving for: we know customer success, always have - and we always will.
And at the same time, it’s an evolving space that we want to stay at the forefront of so having 95% of Planhat users recognizing that our product development is going in the right direction is excellent.
Also, 95% say it’s easy doing business with Planhat, and honestly, this is super important for us. You might be hustling to build a future unicorn or perhaps juggling all the day-to-day actions of a massive enterprise organization. Either way, the interactions with your software provider should be smooth and easy, because you have way to many other things to do. So if we can make parts of your job easier, we all have a lot to win.
At Planhat, we believe in the power of a customer-centric culture. And to achieve that everybody in an organization must have the same view of the customer. Therefore, we put a lot of effort into gathering your customer data in one place, presenting it in an easy-to-understand way, and thereby - and this is very important - making it actionable.
So for all apparent reasons, getting a 94% satisfaction score on Customer monitoring, and a 93% score on our Customer profiles, shows that we definitely can walk the walk when it comes to this.
Also, 94% on such a crucial feature as Data security is not necessarily something that we celebrate. Although it makes us best in class (yep, no other CS-tool gets a higher score on Data Security than Planhat), we are aiming for an even higher score. And so should you. When evaluating for a new CS-tool, make sure you don´t settle for good enough when it comes to security.
G2 defines it’s Client Onboarding category as software that “helps companies manage post-sales activities” and in the subscription economy, that’s actually putting it mildly.
Within any business relying on recurring revenue streams, post-sales activity is a crucial part of building your business. Post-sales might even trump new business in importance.
This means that onboarding your customers in a good way and ensuring a high level of product adoption early on is crucial for the success of your business.

And, which feels somewhat weird to say, 100% of people using Planhat as a CRO says the product is going in the right direction.
Collecting all the data in one place is… one thing. But it’s what you do with it that sets you apart. And using Planhat as a Customer Data Platform it will allow you to structure, manage and interact with your customer data in a collaborative and actionable way.
But, fancy words aside, how are we at it?
