We built our notification center not only with our customers in mind, but with our own team in mind. We are working in it every day, and we see how each team member uses the tool depending on their role.
We have our CSMs that would like in-app notifications to appear because that is where they spend most of their time. Or maybe someone is out at a meeting without access to Planhat? With the notification center they are still able to receive a notification email or slack message on their phone and always be in the loop.
There are other team members of ours that are either a part of the Support team or the Development team and they would prefer to be able to receive slack notifications because they aren’t working in Planhat all day. Slack is the best way to keep them updated and communicating smoothly with everyone else.
Members of our sales team would like to be notified when the new deal they just closed a was created in Planhat as a new customer, or when they have been first seen in the application to make sure things are up and running post-handoff.
