You're joining Planhat's in-house creative agency—Studio Planhat.
We're building a disruptive B2B visual identity across web, social and traditional print media channels, embracing new methods like AI (Midjourney, Visual Electric, Runway) and building plug-and-play design systems for GTM teams that allow us to scale high-quality output infinitely.
We're a team that's always hungry for new challenges. We prioritise scrappiness over seniority and do all our brand and design work in-house, instead of delegating out to agencies.
Processes, words and ideas don't matter to us: engaging, compelling visuals do. We're not researchers or prototypers, we generate production-ready work at scale every single day.
We're based in Planhat's London hub. Since this is a fast-paced creative role, we need you on the ground in London with us.
Role
As Studio Planhat's first Brand Motion Designer, you will bring the Planhat brand to life through motion, animation, and storytelling. You’ll craft motion systems that scale across channels—product marketing, social, campaigns, ads, and events—and help define how we use movement to communicate clearly and feel alive. You’ll work closely with the rest of the studio to concept, build, and ship compelling creative work that captures attention and elevates our brand in a B2B context.
You'll:
Design and animate compelling, on-brand motion assets for launches, campaigns, social, explainers, and ads
Implement motion through micro-interactions and effects on our website (via Framer)
Build a scalable motion system and toolkit to ensure quality and consistency at speed across brand, marketing and enablement content
Support major product launches with high-quality motion-driven storytelling featuring our product interface
Skillset
You'll create the most value and grow fastest with us if you:
are a motion-first designer with a strong foundation in brand design and storytelling
have a portfolio that showcases high-quality motion work across brand, product, and marketing
are an expert in tools like After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Figma
are comfortable working fast and iterating based on feedback
have experience designing for B2B or tech companies
are an early adopter of AI tools like Visual Electric or Weavy to accelerate creative workflows
Trajectory
If you succeed in this role, you'll be Planhat's first dedicated brand motion design hire. Naturally, you'll grow to own and evolve motion and animation across our entire visual identity as we scale. This includes:
building innovative new brand motion styles and campaigns across web & digital;
owning and architecting easy-to-use motion design systems for marketing and enablement to apply;
collaborating with our in-house creative team to push the boundaries of our brand identity
