Overview

Sync events from Outlook Calendar into Planhat as upcoming Planned Activities. This integration is used to populate upcoming meetings from your Calendar as tasks in Planhat.

How it works

Calendar sync starts with today's date and fetches events 30 days into the future as Planned Activities in Planhat. It also allows you to push individual Planned Activities of type Event from Planhat to Outlook Calendar, by selecting "Save to Outlook Calendar" when creating the event.

As with Email, Planhat doesn't sync anything personal or non-relevant: if the event invite includes some contact (End User) in Planhat (matched by email), we assume it's a customer meeting that should be synced. If the contact doesn't exist, but their email domain is professional (not @gmail, @hotmail, etc,) and matches the related domain of an existing company, then Planhat can automatically create a new contact and save the event.

Configure

Any Planhat user can connect their Outlook Calendar from the Calendar tab of their profile. Each user will need to connect their calendar individually. For a step-by-step guide, see our Help Center.
