Google Drive
Google Drive provides scalable cloud storage, while Planhat provides the execution layer for your commercial data. By establishing a scheduled pipeline between the two, teams transform passive flat files into actionable customer context and usage metrics without manual intervention or engineering dependency.
Unlock the power of Google Drive with planhat
Improve net revenue retention
Defend and grow revenue by automating the delivery of adoption signals. By scheduling recurring imports of time-series consumption data from Google Drive into Planhat Metrics, Customer Success Managers receive immediate alerts on usage drops, allowing for earlier intervention before a renewal is at risk.
Shorten time to value
Accelerate onboarding by mapping implementation records directly to the customer record. Operations teams can ingest bulk implementation files in CSV or XLSX format to populate Companies, End Users, and custom fields, bypassing engineering bottlenecks to move accounts to kickoff status faster.
Increase process governance
Maintain record integrity through automated file routing. Planhat uses a dedicated "processed" directory to isolate ingested files, ensuring the same document is never processed twice and preventing the duplication of commercial data across your portfolio.
Improve commercial predictability
Anchor revenue forecasts in objective behavioral evidence. By establishing a reliable scanning cadence—ranging from every five minutes to weekly—leadership ensures that Health Scores and executive dashboards are built on the latest file updates rather than outdated snapshots.

Flow & configuration
Authentication and folder authorization
Authorized users connect the integration within the Integrate tab of the App Center by signing in with their Google credentials. This establishes an OAuth-based connection, where users must ensure Google Drive scopes allow Planhat to read files and move them between directories following ingestion.
Define mapping destinations and data types
Administrators specify the target folder path and choose whether the incoming files should populate core CRM objects—such as Companies, End Users, Assets, or Projects—or specific time-series Metric types. The integration supports XLSX, XLS, CSV, and JSON formats for ingestion.
Configure scan frequency and archival logic
Define the scheduled fetch cadence, choosing intervals from every five minutes to once a week. To ensure sync reliability and maintain data hygiene, you must specify a "processed" folder path; Planhat automatically moves files into this directory following a successful import to manage ingestion state and avoid re-processing.
Identity matching and record creation
Planhat matches incoming data to existing records using unique identifiers like External IDs or email addresses. If enabled, the integration can auto-create End User records when a professional email domain in a Drive file matches a Company’s related domain, ensuring contact lists remain current with no manual effort.
