Hayley Forman Schwartz — The event sounded incredible. I was also interested to see what was top of mind for other CS leaders in the industry, how they're thinking about using customer data to make informed decisions on how to manage their portfolio. And of course, AI has become a huge discussion in the tech space and in customer success.

So I was interested to hear - what's top of mind for some of these other companies? How are they incorporating that into how they manage the portfolios? how they can serve customers?

So I'm working East Coast Hours while I'm here, but the events after work sound really sick. Tonight I'm going to be surfing. I'm not much of a surfer myself living in New York, so I'm really excited to get out there. There are some people here who are really legit surfers, so I'm excited for that.

I think what I'm hoping to take from this is just the energy getting back into work after this. I think a lot of times, and especially for those of us who work from home or work remotely, it can be really challenging to wake up and motivate yourself every single day. When your office is also the kitchen table and you don't really have a delineation between work and life.

So I think just the energy of hearing from people who are thinking about things or approaching things in different ways, how I maybe will approach my work differently and just like capitalizing on the energy coming out of it.

When I first heard about this, I struggled to actually put my finger on what was this going to look like? And my first thought was, is this maybe like the early days of South by Southwest, which was originally designed for music, but for tech. Because I think what South by Southwest set out to be was to bring managers and artists and labels and everyone all together in an informal non-stuffy setting. It wasn't like a business pitch, but a way for everyone to just come together and learn from each other.

And it feels like that's what this is designed to do in a really organic and fun way that isn't super centered around panels or product pitches, more just like organic discussion. And I don't think a framework for this exists.

And so I'm excited to see how this evolves over the next couple years!
