Question 1

What are Global Templates and how do they work in practice?

Accepted Answer

Global Templates are pre-built, centrally managed blueprints for high-stakes moments in the customer lifecycle — such as onboarding, risk mitigation, or renewal preparation. Administrators create and govern them centrally; account managers use them to execute standardised, pre-approved workflows without having to design processes from scratch for every account.

Question 2

How do Global Templates enable consistent execution across a large, distributed team?

Accepted Answer

Instead of allowing process fragmentation — where different teams manage onboarding or renewals in different ways — Global Templates enforce a unified standard of execution across regions and segments. This ensures the customer journey is consistent, professional, and aligned with the company's commercial strategy, regardless of which team member is managing the account.

Question 3

How do Global Templates allow best practices to spread across the organisation quickly?

Accepted Answer

Global Templates are living templates, not static documents. When you refine a renewal process in one region — identifying a step that improves retention rates — you can push that update globally with a single action. This ensures every team is always running the most evolved version of your commercial strategy, compressing the time between learning and adoption.

Question 4

How do Global Templates make customer data more comparable and useful for analysis?

Accepted Answer

To analyse what drives success, you need comparable data. Because every onboarding or expansion project follows a standardised task structure and communication cadence, the resulting historical data is structured and clean. This allows Revenue Analytics and AI models to reason across thousands of accounts effectively — identifying exactly which templated steps lead to the highest NRR.

Question 5

How do Global Templates satisfy enterprise governance and compliance requirements?

Accepted Answer

Planhat's Global Templates meet enterprise governance requirements by providing a centralised governance layer over all commercial actions. This includes version control ensuring only the latest compliant workflows are active, centralised authorisation restricting template creation to authorised process architects, and operational auditability ensuring every automated action follows a pre-defined, compliant path.
