Authentication and audience selection
Authorized users connect the Mandrill application within the Integrate tab of the App Center. Admins select the specific Planhat End User filter intended for campaign delivery, establishing the criteria that dictate which contacts are eligible for the outbound sync.
Define sync mode (one-time vs. continuous)
Users configure the mapping to operate as either a one-time push of a selected segment or a continuous sync. Continuous sync maintains a live link between the Planhat filter and the Mandrill list, ensuring that contact lists remain current as customer data changes.
Hourly automated list maintenance
For continuous mappings, Planhat scans the linked filter and updates the Mandrill audience at least once every hour. This one-way outbound sync automatically adds new eligible users and removes those who no longer meet the filter criteria, maintaining high list hygiene for active campaigns.
