The integration setup is initiated through Planhat's partnership team to enable the required API access and webhooks. Once activated, Fathom sends AI-enriched call data directly to a Planhat receive endpoint in a one-way inbound sync.
Identity matching and record association
Planhat uses attendee metadata and host context to match incoming call logs to the correct Company and End User records. The meeting host is automatically included as a Planhat internal user to preserve the ownership hierarchy for all synced activities.
Structured conversation storage
Synced meetings are stored as Conversations of type "Fathom Call". The system stores AI-generated summaries and action items in the description field, while raw transcripts are placed into a dedicated field to support high-fidelity record-keeping.
