Flow & configuration
Secure authentication in the App Center
Admins establish the connection by selecting the Ringover application within the Integrate tab of the Planhat App Center. This setup requires a Ringover Power account and administrative permissions in both platforms to authorize the data bridge.
Enable click-to-call from phone number fields
Once authenticated, users can initiate outbound calls by clicking any valid phone number field within the Planhat profile or data view. This action triggers Ringover to open and place the call, allowing teams to execute outreach directly from their customer operating layer without switching applications.
Map call logs to the Conversation model
The integration functions through a one-way inbound sync that pulls call activity from Ringover into Planhat. Calls are stored as Conversations (Logged Activities), ensuring that telephony data is structured for reporting and visibility across the entire customer lifecycle.
Capture call metadata and recording links
For every completed call, Planhat fetches specific metadata including the exact timestamp and duration. A direct link to the call recording is automatically attached to the record in Planhat, providing users with immediate access to the full conversation for follow-through or internal review.
Maintain identity matching and record integrity
Planhat automatically associates synced call logs with the appropriate team member and End User based on recognized contact data. To ensure reliable matching and call initiation, phone numbers must adhere to specific country-code formatting requirements during record creation or update.
