One customer, one view. Company-wide
Seth Terbeek — When we looked at how all of the other businesses were pricing their platform, it was all based on seats. And so that cost really went up very quickly. And so when we found that Planhat was doing that based on the size of your business, your customers, your revenue, we were able to bring in everybody and have pretty good ability to keep that cost within reason. We were able to budget for that. We know how many customers we're going to bring on each year, and we know what that's going to scale through as we go with the business.
And so one of the things that we're really excited about with Planhat was where you're going with Professional Services and how that's going to enable the team that has some very specific needs that's different from customer success, be able to meet what they have to do for the business, and then have that all within, again, one platform that everyone can work from.
And so the team explored a bunch of other platforms to do that, but they realized we need to be on the same page with Customer Success, have a place where we're working together on this, and be able to see what each of them is doing and with the next steps for Planhat, that's going to give us the ability to do that.
And then we're looking at bringing in Sales as well so that they start to have some understanding of that. And then I think we're going to go down the road of how do we start to get executives involved with these accounts and understand what they have access to and what they need to do for these accounts that previously we really didn't have anything around that that they could go look at. This is the state of the customer as they exist today. It would all have to be one-on-one conversations, just catch up with what's going on.
Anybody who really wants to drive change in their organisation and find a way to bring teams together can leverage Planhat and find value for their function, and then for the tangential and related functions that they have to coordinate with within the business.
