The criteria for success
Bianca Ker — Candidly, we looked at some other platforms that were newer, that had focused a lot on AI and had focused a lot on automation and delivering insights, and we considered it for sure. They're newer, and what they were trying to do is differentiate themselves in the market by doing something very specific and bespoke.
The challenge we found was that although those were really interesting functionalities and tools, they lacked the basics that we needed. They lacked the complexity of the integrations, the flexibility of the UI, and we really felt like we would probably spend a year or two just feature requesting in order to get the basics, and we weren't willing to sacrifice that.
There's so much more that we could be doing from a forecasting and a predictive analysis kind of base strategy when it comes to Planhat, but the day-to-day, just the sort of baseline requirements, were super easy to stand up. And my team, with some of our integration into Sprout Social, we've lost some access here and there.
I think you can say that it's been a successful integration, a successful software build when your team is pulling their hair out because they can't get access to the software.
